Side: Green Canyon Jeep Safari & Boat Tour
Tour Detail
Explore the Taurus Mountains on an off-road jeep tour from Side. Swim in the emerald waters of Green Canyon, enjoy a lakeside lunch. Explore 2 different tours in one day.
Begin your day with a comfortable hotel pickup in an open-top cabrio jeep and set off toward the lesser-known foothills of the Taurus Mountains. After meeting your experienced local guide, you will receive a brief introduction covering the day’s itinerary and safety guidelines before the adventure begins.
Leaving the paved roads behind, you will enter rugged off-road routes that wind through pine forests, rocky trails, and rural paths. This off-road journey offers fun moments, plenty of laughter, light water splashes, and impressive scenery. More than just transportation, this part of the tour is an immersive experience that brings you closer to nature and the spirit of exploration.
The first main stop is a peaceful, natural village café located near Green Lake. During this break, enjoy a cold drink while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere among village houses that are over 100 years old.
After leaving the café, a short drive through scenic landscapes with lake views brings you to a restaurant for lunch. Here, you will be served a traditional lunch prepared with fresh ingredients, including fish, Turkish döner, seasonal salad, rice, and pasta. The simple yet welcoming setting, combined with beautiful natural views, makes this stop especially memorable.
Following this delightful lunch, a short journey takes you to visit a 100-year-old mosque. Your guide will share information about the mosque’s history, and you will have time to take souvenir photos.
After the mosque visit, a drive of approximately 20 minutes brings you to Green Canyon. There, you will board a catamaran boat and embrace the unique beauty of Green Canyon. The first stop of the 2-hour boat tour is a swimming platform, where you will enjoy a 30-minute swim and photo break in the crystal-clear, refreshing waters. Afterwards, the boat continues deeper into the canyon to explore its breathtaking scenery. After approximately 7 km, you will reach the end of the canyon, where the cool waters emerge from a natural spring. Throughout this journey, you will have the opportunity to take unforgettable photos in the heart of the canyon, while your local guide shares insights about the area’s natural wonders.
In the final part of the day, you will return to the jeep and begin the journey back along rural roads. Blending off-road adventure, close-to-nature moments, and local flavors, this tour offers a well-balanced mix of excitement and relaxation.
At the end of the tour, you will return to your hotel feeling refreshed, sun-kissed, and happy to have discovered a side of the region that many visitors never get to see.
