Explore the coastal city of Alanya on a full-day journey from Side, combining history, sea views, and relaxed free time.
After hotel pickup, travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle toward Alanya. Upon arrival, begin your visit with panoramic views of the medieval Alanya Castle, originally built during the Seljuk period in the 13th century. From this elevated position, enjoy sweeping views across the Mediterranean coastline and the city below.
Continue to the harbor area and board a boat for a scenic cruise around the Alanya peninsula. As you circle the castle walls from the sea, take in dramatic cliffs, historic fortifications, and open-water views. This relaxing boat segment offers a different perspective of the city’s iconic landscape.
Following the cruise, head inland to the peaceful surroundings of Dim River, where lunch is served in a shaded riverside setting. Enjoy your meal while listening to the sound of flowing water and taking in the natural scenery.
In the afternoon, return to central Alanya for approximately two hours of free time. You may explore the harbor district, visit the Red Tower area, browse local shops, or choose the optional cable car ride connecting Damlataş Beach to Alanya Castle for elevated coastal views.
Before departing, visit Damlataş Cave, known for its impressive stalactites and unique microclimate. After the cave visit, relax on the return journey to Side.
